Be Safe Direct

Be Safe Direct are Fire and Safety specialists, They supply safety products such smoke ventilation systems and window or door actuators to business. They have an online store built on the Magento platform.

ExtraDigital were asked to help improve the performance of the store by reskinning and optimising the speed of some functionality.

The work

We worked closely with Be Safe Direct, looking into the current user experience, website data and statistics to identify the core issues. We focussed on the user journey, constructing a customer focussed plan of action to maximise the potential of the website.

The actual work included:

• updating the branding, colour schemes and logos
• Creating new website designs, mobile first and responsive with best practise UXconsidered
• Migration of old site to new site
• Full testing

The new website was fully responsive, and was designed to work well on mobile devices.

Results

The new website quickly produced significant improvements in sales revenue from the website with a 42% increase in numbers of transactions on the website
