The brief
A new structure needed a new web presence
We have worked with The FDS Group for the best part of a decade. When they restructured, we advised on the impact on their owned media and digital presence: the benefits, the risks and how to limit them.
Fire Design Solutions and FDS Consult became dedicated business units for each stage of the RIBA Plan of Work, under The FDS Group umbrella: FDS Consult UK, FDS Contracting and FDS Maintenance. Their two websites had to reflect that.
How we did it
Two sites into four

FDS Consult UK
New content, a slight rebrand and a domain transfer handled to preserve the site's marketing value.

WordPress Multisite
The Fire Design Solutions site became a multisite for The FDS Group, FDS Contracting and FDS Maintenance.

Content and redirects
Content mapped to the new sites, with redirects in place to keep SEO value, and key pages refreshed.

The group site
A new home page and branding that show the size of the group and link to each business.

A clearer route for every enquiry
