INTRODUCTION
Numu is a digital marketplace specialising in agricultural products and inputs. The platform connects suppliers and manufacturers of agricultural products to farmers in the MENA region.
They approached ExtraDigital to provide a full design and build for a CS-Cart storefront in English and Arabic, acting as a multi-vendor site. The platform needed to provide suppliers of products better access to compare products and prices in a single view.
The build’s design focused on accessibility, taking into account the website’s use on mobile, search engines and relevant voice software. Similarly, the design needed to be adjusted for Arabic markets with the writing reversed right to left and further considerations for the targeted Arabic audiences.
As a product-focused site, strong search functionality and a clear, concise filter range was needed to ensure audiences find the correct products they’re searching for.
Alongside several specific pages, including a blog, vendor page and brands page, the client needed a ‘My Account’ section with specific information, including:
- Creating account
- Signing in
- Payment information
- Previous orders
- Account information
Prior to launching new websites for our clients, ExtraDigital has a thorough checking process to ensure that newly designed and built sites are fully operational and secure. However, it’s important to keep websites to a high standard with recent updates.
After building the site, the client has also started a CS-Cart hosting package for secure hosting with SSL certification, urgent security patches and support.
