Case study · Charity website
St Catherine's Hospice, a new site for a new brand
After nearly four decades, the hospice refreshed its brand so local people would know who they are and how they help. We built the website that became the new brand's principal asset.

The brief
Help people know who they are
St Catherine's Hospice supports people living with terminal illness in their homes, at a Day Hospice and on their wards.
Research had shown that local people didn't know who they were or how they could help. Branding agency SomeOne created a focused new brand, and the website was to be its principal asset, showing the charity in a whole new light.
How we did it
Form follows function
01
Build first
To meet the deadlines, we built and tested the core functionality before the design was applied.
02
Working with SomeOne
We worked alongside the branding agency, receiving the new brand mid-build.
03
Bespoke brand elements
The brand's bespoke elements applied across the finished design.
The result
Bespoke, and true to the brand
An unusual way of working, but the result is a bespoke site that keeps the core brand values of St Catherine's Hospice.
