eCommerce

eCommerce websites built to sell, not just to launch

We design, build and market online stores for retailers, brands and B2B sellers. ExtraDigital built its first ecommerce site in 2005 and has worked with most major platforms since, so we can recommend the right one for your catalogue and then build a store that handles product discovery, trust and checkout properly.

  • Shopify, WooCommerce, CS‑Cart and Magento experience
  • Payment gateway, delivery and stock API integrations
  • Multilingual and multi‑currency stores
  • Ecommerce marketing and tracking from the same team

From platform to checkout

What we provide

  • Platform selection
  • Store design, development and integration
  • Product and category structure
  • Checkout optimisation
  • Tracking implementation
  • Ongoing improvement once the store is trading

We treat category and product pages as the commercial core of the site. Filtering, merchandising, imagery, delivery information and returns messaging all affect whether a visitor buys, and all get designed deliberately.

Where a store already exists, we often start with an audit of conversion, speed and search performance before recommending anything expensive.

The old store was not responsive and did little to explain the products or the order process. We designed an image and video-led Shopify store that shows customers and dealers what the tools do, and made it mobile-friendly so they can buy from their phones.

Frequently asked questions

Which ecommerce platform should we use?

It depends on your catalogue, order volume, integrations and the team managing the store. We work with Shopify, WooCommerce, CS-Cart and Magento, so the recommendation is based on fit rather than on what we prefer to build.

Can you replatform an existing store?

Yes. Replatforming needs careful planning around products, URLs, redirects and historic search visibility. That planning happens before any build work starts.

Do you handle payment and delivery integrations?

Yes – payment gateways, delivery providers and stock APIs are routine parts of our ecommerce builds.

Can you sell in multiple languages and currencies?

Yes. We build multilingual stores and have run international ecommerce marketing for B2B and B2C clients, using native speakers for translation.

Do you also market the store after launch?

We do. SEO, PPC, paid social, CRO, email and analytics are all in-house, which is why acquisition is planned into the build rather than bolted on.
